Community

Supporting my community is important to me, and I’ve been thoughtfully reflecting on the organizations that align with my values and where my support can make a positive impact.

I believe art can do more than inspire—it can also make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

In keeping with this belief, I am committed to donating 10% of art sales to support three organizations whose missions align with my values. Through my artwork, I hope to share creativity, peace, and joy while contributing to causes that strengthen and uplift our community near and far.

April 2011 was my first introduction to Imagine Me Ministries, Inc. Working with a group of girls from this program on a quilt project was so much fun! Under Pascha R. Lee's leadership, Imagine Me Ministries continues to grow and influence youth's lives positively.

I joined the charity: water community in July 2023 to support its mission to end the global water crisis. What first inspired me was learning that 100% of public donations go directly toward clean water projects.

I had never encountered an organization that committed every public donation to the cause it supports, and I was deeply impressed by this approach.

My interest led me to read Thirst: A Story of Redemption, Compassion, and a Mission to Bring Clean Water to the World, written by charity: water founder Scott Harrison. His story deepened my appreciation for the mission and the importance of bringing clean water to communities around the world.

I was introduced to Mercy Ships while reading Thirst: A Story of Redemption, Compassion, and a Mission to Bring Clean Water to the World by charity: water founder Scott Harrison. I was deeply touched by the dedication of volunteers who commit to living and serving aboard a ship for months at a time to help others and began supporting this organization, January 2024.

Mercy Ships is a global humanitarian organization that operates state-of-the-art hospital ships, providing free, life-changing surgeries and healthcare to people in developing nations, particularly along the coast of Africa.
